PR Valve
Pressure Reducing Valve

Ideal for installations where high water pressure is likely to be an issue. The pressure reducer comes with push fit fittings for use with ¼ inch tube. Highly recommended to be used when installing NZ20 and NZ30 filter cartridges. The inlet is ½ inch male thread with a 6mm tube adaptor. Ensure that water flow is in the direction of the arrow. |

Top: ¾ inch thread fitting for dishwasher taps. It takes a ¼ inch John Guest fitting which connects to your water filter hose. It can be connected with an existing dishwasher or onto an unused tap and the end blanked. Middle: Mixer tap fitting. This typically fits on the lower end of the braided stainless hose from a lever mixer tap. It has ½ inch thread fittings, a ball valve shut off and 6mm connector. Bottom: G-Clamp saddle valve. This fits onto ½ inch and smaller copper and polybutylene pipe and punches a hole into the pipe. Generally can be easily installed without shutting off the water. |

Fits to old style mixer taps, or can be fitted to lever mixer taps using the adaptor. Allows the filter to be permanently connected to the tap and to easily switch between filtered water and tap water. It is also a great advantage where rubber fittings may not fit the tap or may blow off from back pressure. |
